Though a New Yorker by birth, Alex Sgambati was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she began her acting career in theatre at the age of seven. Offered admission to some of the US' top acting conservatories and universities, including Tisch at NYU, BU, Chapman University and Pepperdine University. Her first performance was at the age of four as a bumble bee in a tap routine. Is an alumna of the prestigious Governor's School Theatre Program. Correct pronunciation of her last name is"Skam-body".
